Jouany Chatoux, 47, a native of the Creuse and father of 4, has been an entrepreneur in the agricultural and medicinal sectors since 1999. His company, La ferme bio de pigerolles, has been working since 2017 to set up a French production chain for organic wellness and medical cannabis. A co-founder in 2019 of the AFPC (Association Francaise des Producteurs de Cannabindides), Jouany is its spokesperson. The primary aim is to structure cannabis production and support producers. As such, Jouany has been involved as an expert in parliamentary reports on the various uses of cannabis since 2018. He is particularly involved in the fight to ensure that patients have access to high-quality French medical cannabis.
In 2018, Jouany also co-founded the company Canapole, working on the development of a medical cannabis production and processing unit on a secure former military site. A fervent defender of the full spectrum, Jouany campaigns to ensure that consumers have access to natural, cost-effective products, rather than freely sold synthetic molecules that are detrimental not only to buyers, but also to the French economy and agricultural ethics.
