The Medical Cannabis Conference empowers clinicians to provide the best patient care through endocannabinoid system and cannabinoid medicine treatments.

 

Join the Society of Cannabis Clinicians esteemed faculty at its first national conference on September 2, 2023 at UCLA featuring world-renowned cannabis experts who have combined decades of experience using medical cannabis in their diverse patient populations. Topics which include the use of cannabis for various patient concerns (e.g., endometriosis, pediatrics, epilepsy, autism, addiction and hyperemesis, dementia and palliative care) on top of aspects of policy development for cannabis, grant funding for research, and social equity programs, will be covered in the first national conference for cannabis in medicine.

At the conclusion of this activity, the attendees will be able to:

  1. Recommend cannabis appropriately as a treatment method for various medical issues
  2. Define cannabis use disorder, help prevent it, and manage patients appropriately who have it
  3. Design practice policies and procedures to stay in compliance with all county and state requirements
  4. Practice social equity in dealing with patients in the cannabis market
