International Development Officer and Co-founder of La Fleur de Loire, a French hemp production company where Peter is responsible for developing business abroad. On a daily basis, he facilitates international communications with suppliers, growers, researchers, designers and future clients. In 2018, through a mutual friend, he met Matthias, the Co-founder of La Fleur de Loire. At that time, he was a novice when it came to CBD but his passion for the cannabis plant and his knowledge sparked my curiosity. In talking with him, Peter began to understand the medicinal and therapeutic opportunities it has the potential to offer to people suffering from chronic pain. This issue particularly affects members of his close family including his sibling, a doctor specialised in chronic pain so he decided to become more informed on the subject. Peter is now convinced that more scientific research and funding should be dedicated to this field. Traditionally, France was once open to hemp production, especially in the Northwest region of France where the headquarters of La Fleur de Loire is located. Reviving this once prolific and valued tradition excites him. As an English expat who has lived in France for the past 12 years, Peter has fallen in love with this beautiful country as well as the idea of producing organic, certified, tested CBD grown in France for the French people, and potentially for the rest of the world.
